This architecture ensures a low profile, short travel and a quiet, smooth typing experience, which is highly sought after in shared office spaces or at home. The model features a classic ISO layout with a numeric pad and an Fn modifier for multimedia functions and volume control. The matte key caps have laser-engraved symbols for protection against wear, and the mechanisms boast a lifespan of 10 million clicks. Foldable legs with rubberized bases are provided for...setting an ergonomic tilt angle. Released on the market in 2024, the Canyon CNS-HSETW5 set includes a lightweight symmetrical mouse weighing 59 grams with a tactile soft-touch coating. How to choose a gaming keyboardLet's look at the differences between the types of switches and additional equipment for gaming keyboards

Lightweight mouse

Canyon HSET-W5 is a ready-made keyboard and mouse set with wireless connection via a common 2.4 GHz USB dongle. Both gadgets can be painted in three colors: black with lime green, white with red, and light gray with orange. The keyboard is powered by one AAA alkaline battery, and the mouse by one AA battery. The weight of the mouse without battery is less than 60 grams.

Durable switches

In addition to the two main buttons and the scroll wheel, the mouse has a separate key for switching the cursor speed (800, 1200, 1600 DPI) and two side programmable keys. The resource of the microswitches under the LMB and RMB is 3 million clicks. In turn, the keyboard uses more durable scissor switches for 10 million clicks.

Numeric keys

And the scissors are quieter than mechanics, and at the same time more tactile than membranes. They will be most familiar to laptop owners in terms of sensations. The layout is full-size with 105 keys with a numeric block on the right, the symbols are laser engraved. Eleven hot keys are responsible for multimedia functions, an additional slot is made for installing a smartphone.
