Deepcool AS500 (R-AS500-BKNLMN-G)

A high-end CPU cooler from Deepcool with a thin profile, high nameplate TDP and full address lighting. The model is made using indirect contact technology, belongs to the upper price segment and is in fact a slightly more affordable competitor to supercoolers from Noctua and other famous brands. Passport TDP in the region of 220 W suggests that this model is best suited for cooling hot Intel and AMD Performance class processors with 8 physical cores and manual overclocking.

The DeepCool AS500 features a massive, high-density aluminium heatsink that is pierced by five nickel-plated heatpipes. The radiator covers a massive 140-mm cooler with PWM-adjustable rotation of the blades in the range from 500 to 1500 rpm. Despite the height of 164 mm, the tower design turned out to be quite thin, which minimizes possible conflicts with other large-sized components such as RAM strips with massive heat exchangers. The cooler itself is fully compatible with most current Intel and AMD processor sockets, including the new Intel 1700 format. In addition, the cooler has a full-fledged addressable lighting with a separate control controller and connecting cables that will help synchronize the cooler backlight with the rest of the PC RGB elements.
