Overall, DeepCool Assassin IV is well made, looks solid, has a well-thought-out design and a convenient installation system. The radiator consists of a nickel-plated copper base, seven heat pipes with a diameter of 6 mm and two sections of aluminium plates.
120- and 140-mm fans on hydrodynamic bearings are responsible for its airflow. The fans support PWM rotation speed control from 500 to 1650 rpm. The coolers support two operating modes: in quiet mode the turntables are almost inaudible (the total noise level does not exceed 23 dB), and in performance mode the cooler is capable of cooling a processor with a TDP of up to 280 W. Server sockets are not supported. Finally, it is necessary to note the large dimensions (height 164 mm) and impressive weight (1575 grams) of the device, which is important to consider when installing compact PCs and complex systems with a large number of components.
