Deepcool Castle 240 RGB V2 is the second iteration of the already successful two-section liquid cooling system (abbreviated as FLC). The main improvements concerned protection against possible leaks, although they were extremely rare in Deepcool dropsies, unlike some other brands, at the level of statistical error.

High elasticity

The protection is implemented in the form of an elastic cone to compensate for the pressure inside the reservoir with the refrigerant liquid. If necessary, the walls of the cone are compressed or vice versa expand, thereby equalizing the difference in pressure inside and outside. Exactly the same highly elastic material is used in the LSS hoses.

Quieter than water, lower than grass

With all this, the Castle 240 RGB V2 is also very quiet. All thanks to the ceramic bearing pump, which even at a fixed 2550 rpm emits only 18 dB of noise, which is almost audible. Two complete hydrodynamic 12-cm fans did not blunder either: they are able to start from 500 rpm and even at a maximum speed of 1800 rpm they buzz no louder than 30 dB. In addition, both the fans and the pump are decorated with addressable ARGB lighting.

Full compatibility

Addressable lighting differs from conventional RGB in that it allows you to adjust the glow of individual zones by synchronizing with the motherboard using ASUS AuraSync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome or Biostar Vivid LED DJ technology (the latter is not officially announced, but most likely also works). Deepcool Castle 240 RGB V2 is compatible with all old and new processor sockets, including even the highly specialized Intel LGA2066 and AMD TR4, since the heat dissipation efficiency is enough even for flagship processors.
