But the romance ends where the noise begins. When they spin up, they can create something of a "miniature airfield." Not terribly loud, but that low hum at high speeds is always noticeable. If your computer is nearby and you enjoy silence at night, this is definitely not the quietest set in the world. There are more interesting options out there, although they tend to be more expensive.
In terms of feel however, they're well-made, with strong airflow and a neat design without unnecessary frills. If they were quieter, they'd be priceless, but as it is, they're a good option but with nuances. Overall, it's quite a good option, especially considering the price.
