Diana Mauser K98

The Mauser rifle was widely used during the Second World War by the Germans and their allies, and also as a captured weapon by the Soviet troops. The pneumatic copy of the legendary carbine is the Diana Mauser K98 model.

The rifle got hold of a spring-piston cocking mechanism and a fixed steel barrel 460 mm long, which acts as a guarantor of high accuracy and accuracy of fire. Reloading the carbine after each shot is done by breaking the underbarrel lever. The barrel caliber of the model is 4.5 mm.

Due to the introduction of a walnut stock into the design, the rifle has a solid weight (about 4 kg) — you won’t shoot from it for a long time. In contrast to what was said, the shooter almost does not feel the recoil, which is additionally damped by the rubber butt pad damper. The carbine also has an automatic fuse and an adjustable two-position trigger.

Sights

Shooting from a rifle is carried out with the help of a standard aiming bar and a customizable front sight. If desired, an additional body kit in the face of an optical sight can be hung on the weapon. This is installed on the dovetail mounting profile in the amount of 11 mm. And although the price tag for the Diana Mauser K98 cannot be called democratic, it will have to look for equals in terms of workmanship.
