The mid-priced air rifle by Beeman is a single-shot solution with a spring-piston mechanism. The model features a traditional break-barrel loading design. The piston provides a moderate muzzle velocity of up to 240 m/s, which is quite sufficient for beginners and/or for recreational shooting at medium distances. The Beeman Jackal air rifle comes with a wooden stock, which helps keep the weight reasonably low (2.85 kg).
But above all, the wood offers aesthetic appeal, a pleasant touch, and is usually practical. The rifled barrel is complemented by a muzzle brake, which is intended to reduce recoil and lateral barrel oscillations, thereby improving shooting accuracy. The stock is distinguished by a raised cheekpiece, a ventilated butt pad, and the overall design includes grooving on the grip and fore-end for a reliable grip and comfortable handling of the airgun.
Noteworthy features include an adjustable trigger, manual safety, and TRUGLO mechanical sights with light-gathering fibers that are highly visible in low-light conditions. It offers a "dovetail rail" for optics. Additionally, there are versions available with an extended package that may include a scope, case, and pellets. Wooden stock for light weight & aesthetics, rifled barrel with muzzle brake for accuracy, adjustable trigger for better control, TRUGLO sights for low-light visibility.
