Offered in red with white inserts, the Ferrino backpack is a model for classic runners and fans of trail running, that is, cross-country running. It received a characteristic X-shape with good aerodynamics, which reduces the resistance of oncoming air flows in windy weather.

In addition to the Ferrino X-Cross 12, there is also a Small version on the market — the X-Cross 10. It has a shorter back length (40 cm versus 48 cm) and weight (440 grams against the background of 470 g), but it also holds only 10 liters, not 12 liters.

Lightness and convenience

The backpack is made of nylon with additional tear protection (Ripstop). Shoulder straps are complemented by two chest straps with height adjustment, as well as a waist belt: as a result, the user has everything necessary to prevent the “confusion and staggering” of the model on the back during intense sports.

All surfaces in contact with the athlete's body are supplemented with "breathable" breathable materials. As useful bonuses, there are reflective strips and equipment loops, where the manufacturer recommends placing, for example, the arcs of the Ferrino tent. And there is also a whistle on the shoulder strap, which will help scare away wild animals and/or let you know if you get lost.

Pockets for every taste

Ferrino X-Cross 12 is equipped with a single compartment where a hydrator and other equipment is supposed to be placed. It also offers 6 external pockets at once: a pair of side pockets for bottles, as well as two each on the waist belt and shoulder straps. Thanks to them, there will definitely be a sufficient amount of liquid at hand, and the necessary food for a snack.

The disadvantages include the lack of alternatives in terms of colour design, and the shortcomings are a rather big price tag, but the specialized Osprey models of the Running series are even more expensive. Other than that, the Ferrino X-Cross 12 is a backpack worth considering for any runner.
