This category is similar to models for outdoor activities (see the relevant paragraph), however, sports backpacks have a narrower specialization — they were originally designed specifically for constant movement. The volume of such products is small — up to 20 liters, and more often up to 15 liters: it is assumed that the athlete will keep only the most necessary items with him. Such items include a supply of water, so many sports backpacks are equipped with a drinking system outlet (see "Design"). Also note that models of this type are usually made elongated in height with a small thickness and width. This provides a streamlined shape and reduces drag during certain types of movement — for example, when riding a road bike.
