Model overview based on user reviews
The FIRST Austria FA 5096-1 is a compact, black electric cooker with a single Hi-Light burner, making it ideal for small kitchens or occasional use. Users appreciate its fast heating and low power consumption, but note that the automatic shutdown feature and incomprehensible operating modes can be frustrating, as it lacks a constant temperature maintenance. The stove's glass-ceramic surface is prone to scratches, and the thermostat operates on a periodic scheme, which can be inconvenient for cooking with smaller cookware. Despite these drawbacks, its compact size and affordability make it a practical choice for emergency or infrequent use, especially in settings with unreliable gas supply.
Pros
Cons
I bribed the stove with its price and compact size, which allows not only to save on energy consumption, but also to install / store in small kitchens (dacha option). Probably, these are all bright advantages. Working with the stove upset: after the surface heats up, the stove turns off. There is no constant temperature maintenance, as a result of which it is impossible to cook something normally. A 3 liter kettle (almost full) did not boil in 25 minutes. The instruction will not help in the fight against inexperience, because. does not write anything. The temperature regulator has 6 positions, what they mean is not said anywhere (in the instructions 3 for cooking, 3 for frying). You have to start working in mode 1 and add power every time the device is turned off. But then you have to stand at the stove all the time. And I want autonomy. Children's porridge (volume at a time) could not be cooked, because. languor is needed, and even at the first power everything is already boiling and seething. At the same time, the shutdown of the device cannot be understood in any way, there is no indicator that it is in working condition, but temporarily disabled. Yes, and the power switch itself is all black, at least take it and draw with white paint. At the end of the work, you will have to be careful, because the stove cools down for a long time. Fast heating, small power consumption, price Automatic shutdown, incomprehensible operating modes, long cooling |
Last year, my wife and I moved from a small regional center to a real Ukrainian village. We were inspired to this move by an interesting business idea - the creation of an ostrich farm. Despite the crisis, there is a demand for ostrich meat and ostrich feathers and the demand is stable. The climate in the Odessa region turned out to be suitable for these birds, because in fact they even treat snow quite calmly. In short, our move was decisive, quick and not without problems. One of the pressing issues was gas supply - the stove in the kitchen was powered by gas cylinders, and there were often interruptions in their delivery. But not to sit without a hot one on such an occasion? )) We bought such a modern electric stove. This is a small, one might even say compact tile with so-called band heaters. In my opinion, this is the most successful type of heating. After all, unlike ordinary tubular heaters or pancakes, tape heaters have no thermal inertia at all and they cool down instantly. The tile itself is small, it is convenient to store it in the lower kitchen cabinet and use it when needed. It looks good, but the glass-ceramic pancake has already received several serious scratches in the course of a month of use. Not a very successful thermostat, operating on a periodic scheme. For example, with smaller cookware, it either operates at full power causing the water to almost jump out of the pot, or turns off the heating, allowing the water to settle. I had to modify the scheme with a "file." I soldered a small triac power regulator, which allows for very smooth power adjustment. With this homemade regulator, using the cooktop became truly comfortable. |
