On the back, there's an advanced optical heart rate sensor that allows the device to determine sleep phases and then draws corresponding graphs in the app. It does a decent job of counting steps and can roughly estimate the distance covered. Based on this data, it estimates the number of calories burned by the body. There's a reminder that triggers if you sit in one place for too long. It connects with a smartphone using Bluetooth protocol version 4.0, and you can sync it with a personal computer or laptop in the same way. For this, a USB-Bluetooth adapter is included in the package. A nice bonus, indeed. There is protection against dust and splashes of water, but it's not waterproof at all. So, before going to the pool, swimming in the sea, or taking a shower, you have to take off the bracelet. If you need to measure your pulse, you should tighten the strap so that the optical sensor is well-pressed against the skin. I'll be honest, it's not the most comfortable feeling, but you can get used to it if you want. After all, the soft elastomer that the strap is made of is gentle on the skin and doesn't irritate it at all.
