Model overview based on user reviews
The Fractal Design Define R6 Black is a highly regarded computer case known for its robust build and thoughtful design. The metal is very thick, making the case heavy and durable, while the interior is lined with noise-reducing material, ensuring a quiet operation. Quick-release bolts and dust covers add to its convenience, and the internal space is highly customizable, allowing users to remove hard drive mounts for additional flexibility. This case is ideal for those who spend significant time on their PC and desire a quiet environment. Although the price reflects its quality, the investment is justified by its longevity and performance. Overall, the Define R6 sets a high standard in the market, offering a blend of functionality and noise reduction that is hard to find in newer models.
Pros

Cons

I would recommend it to those who spend a lot of time on a PC and who are tired of the noise.

Excellent ultra quiet case. I've been using this for about 8 years.
The metal is very thick, the body is really heavy. The inside is lined with noise-reducing material. Everything is secured with quick release bolts. Convenient quick-release dust covers. The internal space can be completely freed from such things as mounts for hard drives and you can put your own in this place. In general, this is the standard. They don’t make things like this anymore, alas, all this new stuff with glass and so on is not worth it.
The price is understandable, but quality has always cost money.

Upgrade Time

Define R6 — another masterpiece from Fractal Design. The company's engineers took into account the feedback from enthusiasts and regular customers, resulting in a practical case that is heavy, durable, spacious, and thoughtfully constructed. Plus, it looks interesting and minimalist, like most other Fractal Design models, especially in the unconventional white color.

Devil is in the Details

This case embodies the saying "the devil is in the details." Inside, it has a modular design that easily allows for massive air or liquid cooling (with 4 spots for water cooling systems), the integration of a large number of drives, the accommodation of components of any size, and the ability to choose the desired balance between ventilation and soundproofing. Among those crucial details is a useful PWM hub that allows controlling the speed of up to nine fans depending on system load, side panels that attach with latches for quick removal, a trio of silent stock coolers, and the option to mount a graphics card in a vertical orientation.

U is for Usability

It's also pleasing that the side glass now fits like a regular panel without screws, the front panel can be removed separately from external ports, and all dust filters are easily and quickly accessible for maintenance. In contrast, there are only two minor drawbacks. The first is the uncovered 5.25 bay through which dust enters the case. The second is the top metal cover, which is challenging to separate from the filter grille, causing scratches on both parts.
