I must say right away that if you want to get something even remotely resembling high-quality stereo sound, choose at least two-way speaker systems. Good-sounding full-range speakers for a reasonable price do not exist. However, it makes sense to talk about decent quality only if the price of the kit exceeds $100. And this set for $42, I would call the minimum acceptable. Everything that is cheaper, especially when it comes to systems in plastic cases, is notorious slag and garbage. And it doesn't matter what brand this cheap technique will stand on, if you are going to not only sound the Windows desktop, but also listen to music, then don't try to save too much - the miser pays twice, and the stupid pays three times)) They look good, discreet, stylish, have a relatively small size. A normal case made of MDF, moderately weighty, in theory it is enough for such power. At low and medium volume they sound decent, but no more. And what else do you want from low-cost two-way speakers with a cheap amplifier. The maximum volume is good, but you should turn it on with caution, distortions will be heard clearly. There are high and low frequency controls, they are enough for simple correction. The switch off at the back is not the most convenient solution, you have to reach for anyone. It is felt that the amplifier built into the speakers of the stars from the sky is not enough. Firstly, there is background noise in the form of a low hiss, you can’t hear it during the day, but after midnight it’s very even. Secondly, at high volume there is strong harmonic distortion, which is why I would not recommend turning the volume above 70%. |
The speakers are not bad, given their cost and the sound they give - very good. BUT... Good sound for your money. Buzz. The feeling that you are sitting near a transformer box. If you take them to a large room where they will be far from the listener - the option is not bad. I purchased this model (in January 2018) for indoor use - for watching movies, using Skype, listening to music. Speakers produce high-quality, clear sound. The sound range of high and low frequencies corresponds to the declared characteristics. The total power of 36 W is more than enough for one room. Nice design. Strong hum from the main speaker. The hum is audible when using Skype or watching a movie. It is "annoying" and irritating. However, if you listen to music loud enough to be heard throughout the apartment, the hum "disappears." The treble and master volume controls are located on the back of the main speaker. This is very inconvenient to use.
