R1280DBs are neat 2.0 class bookshelf speakers with a tidy design, quality sound, and combined connectivity. These speakers belong to the mid-price segment and are not characterized by high power, making them most suitable as regular computer speakers for listening to music, gaming, and watching series. Thanks to the wood-like finish and sleek front panel, they will enhance any interior.

For connecting signal sources, the active speaker features 4 analog RCA connectors, optical and coaxial inputs, a separate subwoofer output, and a wireless Bluetooth receiver version 5.0. This way, you can connect a computer, smartphone, and TV to the speakers simultaneously, without the need to handle wires. The included remote control allows you to fully operate the system from the comfort of your couch - change active inputs, adjust tone and volume, activate wireless connectivity, and switch tracks.

The sound of the speakers is driven by a combination of a 4-inch woofer and a 0.5-inch tweeter. The manufacturer claims a frequency range from 52 to 20000 Hz and a signal-to-noise ratio around 85 dB. The built-in amplifier can "squeeze out" up to 42 W of sound power (21 W per channel). Thanks to the front-facing bass reflex port, the speakers can be placed close to a wall without worrying about distortion in the lower part of the spectrum. If necessary, the user can manually adjust the treble and bass - the controls are located on the side of the active speaker and are also duplicated on the remote control.
