This is amazing, never seen a better image in my life! My phone also has an OLED, but this one is better. I set the brightness to 75% because it’s even too bright, even though they say OLEDs are not usually that bright. The only question is reliability and longevity, but I decided to take the risk - you only live once! Don't be afraid of the glossy screen, unless there are direct light rays hitting the monitor. Colors, brightness, image quality! Not found! |
Organic Diodes and Quantum Dots
The 27-inch Gigabyte monitor is based on a 10-bit QD-OLED matrix. These are organic light-emitting diodes combined with quantum dots, providing exceptional contrast (1,500,000:1), vivid color reproduction, and a wide color gamut (up to 99% DCI-P3). The screen boasts a decent level of brightness, making it suitable for HDR content (DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification), as well as high detail resolution with its 2560×1440 pixel resolution.
Additionally, the Gigabyte Aorus FO27Q2 utilizes an OLED Care system with AI—it includes static image shifting, recovery modes, brightness control, and other features aimed at preventing pixel burn-in and extending the matrix lifespan. Eye safety is confirmed by a certificate from TÜV Rheinland.
Gaming Advantages
For gamers, this monitor offers not only outstanding visuals but also the key advantages of OLED—a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz and an ultra-fast response time of 0.03 ms (GtG). This makes it an excellent choice for gaming PCs and consoles. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and comes with a whole arsenal of gaming features: an integrated dashboard, Black Equalizer to illuminate dark scenes, crosshair display, FPS counter, and a gaming assistant.
Thoughtful Ergonomics and Other Bonuses
The monitor is equipped with a versatile stand capable of rotating the screen to portrait mode, adjusting height (up to 13 cm), tilt, and swivel. The KVM switch allows connecting one keyboard and mouse to two different devices. Completing the picture is a built-in 10-watt stereo system and a USB hub with a Type-C port that supports image transmission (DP Alt Mode) and device charging (up to 18 W with Power Delivery).
Gigabyte Aorus FO27Q2 is a worthy choice for gamers and anyone who values high-quality images, functionality, and convenience.
