i have been enjoying the sound of HECO AURORA 1000 for 2 weeks. Room 25 square meters. Previously I listened to a combination of CAMBRIGE AUDIO 640v2 + VISATON ALTO bookshelf speakers. Well, sometimes, if necessary, I turned on the DALI LEKTOR sub. True, the room was smaller, 16 meters. I moved, while I was settling in, I listened to the previous band for a while. Well, with the expansion of living space, thoughts arose about upgrading the system. Initially, there was a desire to implement a system for watching movies for the family... The DENON AVR-S750H receiver was purchased at a profit. And what can I say. The receiver sounded much more comfortable with the same bookshelf speakers, softer, more detailed.... Even though this is a fairly budget receiver. But the scale was still lacking or something... And I wanted to avoid using a subwoofer altogether when listening to music. I listened to the Aurora 1000 in the salon. I was hooked. I ordered it, brought it home, turned it on... I compared it for a week in various variations on the existing hardware. I can say that I am 100% satisfied with the choice. I just started listening to music more. And not just listen, but probably even listen somewhere. There is no hum, no buzzing at all. The mids and highs sound very comfortable and natural. The speakers are located close to the side walls. The plans are to upgrade the system, or replace the receiver with an AVR-3600, or an amplifier, I haven’t decided yet. I wrote this review for those who doubt their choice, who read reviews that the Aurora is buzzing, that it sounds so-so... It all depends on what you listen to. I really liked it with Denon. I've been listening for two weeks. Fantastic. work in tandem with the Onkyo A 9050 amplifier. They play any genre and Pink Floyd and Sandra and Santana and Katya Maila. I listen in a room of 22 sq. at low volume. I placed it almost close to the wall. There is no buzzing and no hum, unlike the previous Monitor Audio. Not identified. Thin (39x31 cm) rectangular speakers 126 cm high look solid and expensive. The top and front parts are covered with matt lacquer, while the sides and back panel are covered with a film imitating wood. Rich sound
4 speakers provide just the same excellent sound. A 170 mm midbass with a craft paper cone and a rubber long-throw suspension is responsible for the mids. The proprietary 28mm Fluctus tweeter delivers accurate sound reproduction thanks to its silk dome and clever placement between the woofer and midrange.
The bass register is represented by two woofers with a diameter of 200 mm on rubber suspensions and with powerful voice coils. They are assisted by 2 bass-reflex ports brought to the rear panel. Together, this provides high-resolution sound in the range of 22 – 42500 Hz with excellent localization and focus of sound images.
Aurora 1000 can be paired with an amplifier with a power of up to 380 watts per channel and can easily sound a room up to 120 square metres. In addition, the model has two pairs of large screw terminals for connection in the Bi-Amping/Bi-Wiring format, which significantly expands its capabilities.
