On board the laptop is a dual-core Fusion A6 A6-9220, clocked at 2.5 – 2.9 GHz, and 4 GB of RAM, which, if desired, can be increased up to 8 GB. It is worth noting that the most modern type of memory is used — DDR4, so that the laptop can be safely taken for the long term. A large HDD capacity of 1 TB will not be superfluous, but the presence of a DVD-burning drive can already be considered archaic. Perhaps it would be better for the same money to implement more modern options in the car, for example, SSD.
Video
The model uses a screen with an SVA matrix with a resolution of Full HD 1920x1080 pixels, with an anti-reflective coating and white LED backlight. Such a monitor is better than TN type screens in terms of saturation and brightness, but its contrast “lames” when the angle is changed. The picture cannot boast of the accuracy of shades. The integrated AMD Radeon R4 graphics card will not cope with demanding video processes in graphic editors and games, but it will be more than enough for watching movies, photos and videos in high resolution and playing simple games.
Battery
Thanks to a 3-cell lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 31 W / h, the laptop shows good battery life (up to 5 hours with a full resource). In addition, the battery is removable, and as it wears out, it is easy to replace.
The HP 255 G6 (2HH06ES) is a great value for money laptop for AMD fans who prefer large archive storage and fast processes.
