The Inter-Tech Argus APS-620W power supply unit is designed in the standard ATX format, making it compatible with most Midi and Full Tower cases. The design combines a black casing with a bright yellow 120mm fan that features automatic fan control (AFC). This ensures a low noise level within the range of 19–21 dB, making it virtually unnoticed even when the system unit is placed on a desk. The connector set is suitable for entry-level home and office PCs, but with a 620W power supply, an additional 8 PIN connector for installing more powerful graphics cards would be beneficial.

The manufacturer claims an efficiency level of 86%, optimized heat dissipation, and high energy efficiency, but the power supply lacks 80+ certification, which may raise questions about the real characteristics. Meanwhile, the active PFC supports stable operation and efficient power consumption under any load. The main +12V rail supports modern processors and graphics cards with a total power up to 570W, but it is recommended to leave about a 30% margin to avoid operating at the limits. The electronic circuit includes basic protection systems (OVP, SCP, OPP, UVP) providing the minimally necessary level of safety.
