Impressive capacity

Introduced in 2019, the InterStep branded external battery is one of the most capacious models on the market. Its total capacity is 40,000 mAh (144 W), and its effective capacity (taking into account various losses) is 26,000 mAh. This is enough to charge the iPhone 11 9 times, 4 – 5 times — a modern tablet.

InterStep PST150PD is equipped with two USB outlets for charging mobile devices. There is also a USB Type-C with support not only for Quick Charge standards, but also for Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging and Power Delivery technologies. The latter provides solid laptop charging power up to 45W. However note that when connecting several devices at the same time, fast charging is not available.

The power bank is also equipped with an outlet that can power various equipment with a power of up to 140 watts. Laptops (for example, those without Type-C), circulation pumps, lighting devices and flashes, 230 V car refrigerators, quadcopters or even TVs with a diagonal of up to 32" will work from it. When more powerful devices are connected, protection is triggered, plus when using an outlet, the Power bank automatically turns on the built-in cooling system.

Various charging options, flashlight and other features

You can charge the power bank itself in different ways: via USB Type-C from 10 to 45 W, via a DC input (power adapters for modern laptops) or from external solar panels. With a power of 45 W, the charging time will be 7 hours, but with 10 W — 30 hours.

The nice features of the model include a fairly bright 5-watt flashlight and a carrying handle. Cons — a lot of weight (1.7 kg) and high cost. But if you need not just a device for recharging your smartphone, but a device that will significantly increase the level of comfort while fishing, hiking, car camping, or with frequent power outages at home, then take a closer look at the InterStep PST150PD.
