My friend and I decided to open a small "garage" car service. Our town is small, you could say it's a distant suburb of Kyiv, and there are quite a few people who commute to the capital for work by car. I already had some since I've been working on engine and chassis repairs for several years, and my partner brought some (he specializes in bodywork). However, we had to purchase something, like this large set of locksmith tools. It is quite expensive, of course, but its versatility and the availability of some rather rare and sometimes very necessary tools outweigh the cost. Very good assortment of tools, a total of 145 items. Some of them are quite difficult to purchase separately. A wonderful set of socket heads from 4 to 32 mm (half-inch and quarter-inch). Two convenient ratchet wrenches with locks, extensions (including a flexible one), an excellent set of bits and a screwdriver for them with ratchet attachment. There is a good selection of combination wrenches. Includes a punch set, center punch, tool for stripping and installing electrical wires, spark plug sockets, pliers, adjustable pliers, and much more. Made of hardened chrome vanadium steel. Loved the great case in which this set is supplied. It is made of dense impact-resistant plastic, has reliable aluminum locks and reinforced aluminum corners. After a week of use, I knocked down to the metal a whole piece of plastic coating on the ratchet handle, somehow it held weakly. The price is rather high, but such sets of branded instruments cost 2-2.5 times more. |
