The successor to the successful Flip, the JBL Flip 2 portable speaker transforms any space into a full-fledged multimedia studio and is aimed at the youth audience. Sold at the moment in five colours: black, blue, white, red and yellow.

The cylindrical body made of plastic does not creak, good assembly affects. Perforated walls look decent. A silver trim completes the design.

On the rear panel are the USB port, audio jack and charge indicators. The control buttons with a spectacular white backlight are conveniently located on the left side of the case, and on the right side there is an NFC inscription, indicating that the device supports this technology. At the time of pairing via Bluetooth, a characteristic sound is heard. Voice announcements are not supported, but Flip 2 can be used as a speakerphone. Sound quality is provided by SoundClear technology.

Two 6-watt bass-reflex speakers, made using Bass Port technology, guarantee high-quality sound even in a spacious room. The stereo effect is pronounced. Low frequencies impress with depth and readability. Mids and highs sound a bit flat, but clear and legible. There is a smooth 30-level volume control, but the tracks from the speaker do not switch.

Through the USB port, the column charges in an hour and a half. A full charge guarantees 5 hours of battery life. JBL Flip 2 is a quality product for a reasonable price from the creator of professional musical equipment, and this already says a lot, as well as numerous reviews from satisfied owners.
