It is positioned by the manufacturer as a product of the upper price category, intended for active office use in small/medium workgroups. Thanks to the Fast Ethernet module, 10/100BaseTX can be seamlessly integrated into existing cable network infrastructure.

Kyocera's proprietary colour laser printing technology guarantees fast colour and b/w output (up to 30 A4 ppm) with a resolution of up to 1200x1200 dpi. The Kyocera ECOSYS M6630CIDN MFP delivers professional-quality colour brochures, flyers, posters and more. The built-in flatbed scanner with an enlarged original document feeder (up to 75 pages) provides a maximum optical resolution of up to 1200x1200 dpi, which is enough to produce high-quality copies. Can scan to PC, network folder, FTP server, e-mail or plug-in USB flash drive. High-capacity paper input/output trays are provided (high-capacity 1850-page trays sold separately). Works with standard high yield toner cartridges (b/w 8,000 pages, colour 6,000 pages) but comes with half yield cartridges.
