It provides additional convenience in working with such an MFP, since it allows you to simultaneously display numerous different elements (menu items, icons, etc.), and these elements can be made large enough and easy to read. In addition, most models with this feature are able to display pictures sent for printing and scanned materials; viewing such images is most convenient on a large display — especially since almost all such screens are made in colour (see the relevant paragraph).
Theoretically, the diagonal directly affects the price of the screen, but against the backdrop of the cost of the MFPs themselves, this moment is insignificant.
