The 75-inch member of the 2018 Super UHD line is made in a rather thin body (6.5 cm in thickness) and rests on a stylish curved metal stand.

High image quality

The LG 75SK8100 is equipped with an IPS Nano Cell Display, which is positioned as the answer to Samsung's QLED quantum dot technology. In accordance with the tests, the colour gamut and colour quality of the screen of the model corresponds to the capabilities of competitors, but the peak brightness is not so high. However thanks to the high-quality anti-reflective coating, the display suppresses reflections well, so that even in a well-lit room, the picture does not glare and looks convincing.

The advantages of the matrix include good viewing angles (only more expensive OLED TVs have better visibility), and the disadvantage is the level of contrast in dark scenes, where blacks look like grey, even despite Local Dimming.

Rich colours and smooth video

4K TV supports HDR, which will provide a brighter and more vivid picture with perfect colour reproduction when playing the corresponding content. A lower quality signal is improved by Upscaling 4K and Colour technologies, which is helped by the α7 image processor.

The LG 75SK8100 is not afraid of dynamic scenes: movements are not blurred and look smooth due to the frame rate of 100 Hz. And additionally, True Motion technology helps to smooth the video sequence up to 200 frames per second.

Smart TV with great sound

The model works with the latest version of the proprietary "smart" webOS 4.0 shell. The platform offers a decent selection of applications The built-in player plays most popular media formats. The speed and performance of the shell is not satisfactory, and additional convenience in operation is provided by the Magic Remote pointer with support for voice commands.

Built-in speakers LG 75SK8100 is represented by two speakers and a pair of subwoofers. The total power of the audio system is 40 watts.

For the money, the model is one of the best large TVs suitable for watching movies, TV shows, sports broadcasts and video games.
