Outdated Product
An advanced 2.0 speaker system, a model for those who value sound performance over wide possibilities. Of these characteristics, it is worth noting a good frequency range of 45-22000 Hz with a division into 3 bands and separate high and low frequency controls, as well as a quite decent total power of 70 watts. There are practically no additional functions — except for magnetic shielding.

For those who love to tinker)
4 June 2010
Lucky me, 2 years ago I bought it under my salary for 2,000 rubles) The boss bought it, connected it to the laptop (I wonder what he was expecting?), listened to it, wasn't satisfied with the quality, and I quickly offered to buy it for half the price) I bought it, then he somehow visited me and listened to what they delivered under the 1996 Pioneer, and his jaw dropped)
Design, they look decent, without the porn-like stuff like SVENs with plastic and some sparkly things... 2 line inputs, meaning you can connect a bunch of stuff to one set of speakers at the same time... the quality of instrumental music playback, connected bypassing the built-in amplifier... compared to a computer - it's like night and day (connected through a Pioneer CD player and an identical amp)
unprotected tweeter... the worst part is - the speakers are 3-way... and all the drivers are in one box... hence the resonances and "booming"... this issue can be solved by installing a partition between the lower and middle drivers (sealed), adding stiffening ribs along the walls, and lining the inside with sound-absorbing material...

The model is successful!

first thing, get cables with good shielding, the original ones are really bad!
A very successful model! It's pointless to buy something more expensive because this model in terms of quality surpasses even more fashionable brands! And if you don't mind spending an extra 150 $ and install a two-din car amplifier, you'll be doubly satisfied! Only my Yamaha home theater sounds better! But the price difference is 355 $, so think about what to buy! And by the way, speakers with a silk diaphragm are a rarity, especially in combination with a Kevlar diffuser!
It is necessary to soundproof by completely covering the entire area inside.

great model, I really liked it

Buy and use. And I advise not to remove the front protective panel. Without it, they might look (in my opinion) more powerful and better, but once my child touched the low-frequency speaker with a chocolate-covered hand. It doesn't come off...
A very successful model. They work well, without any breakdowns. Overall, a reliable item, made with care. And the sound is good, clear. However, if you like listening to music loudly, I don’t recommend using them with the Jamo S40 subwoofer as the speakers just drown out the sub, you can't hear it. But otherwise, I recommend everyone to get them, you won't regret it!
Scary for the HF - it's not protected.
