They belong to the highest price segment, have advanced equipment and top-end hardware that guarantees serious performance that can compete with the power of stationary gaming PCs. The engine is an advanced 8-core Intel Core i7 (11th generation, Tiger Lake) processor with multi-threading support, auto-overclocking up to 4.6 GHz and 24 MB L3 cache. The mid-range GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card with 6 GB of video memory, support for basic ray tracing and DLSS 2.0 supersampling is responsible for processing three-dimensional graphics in games. Laptops of this series are equipped with DDR4-3200 RAM from 16 to 32 GB. As the main drive, a 512 or 1024 GB SSD is used, which works on the PCI-E 3.0 bus and provides a serious, albeit not a record, data transfer rate. By the standards of the Raider series, this is far from the most serious hardware, but it allows you to be optimistic about the future, counting on the coveted 60 FPS at 1080p. Although, of course, some particularly demanding games may require additional settings or compromises to achieve the desired performance. Laptops Raider GE78HX differ not only in productive stuffing, but also in a unique design: in particular, this is a rare gaming laptop with RGB backlighting. We saw something similar only in the Asus ROG Strix series. The thin body is made of solid aluminum, the screen is attached to the base with a massive and rather taut hinge, stylish air intakes protrude from the back of the case, and the keyboard is backlit with MSI Mystic Light support. The keyboard was developed by the Danish wizards from SteelSeries, and the manufacturer of Hi-Fi audio equipment Dynaudio was responsible for the stereo system. Unlike the case, the screen does not stand out for anything other than size: 17-inch diagonal, 1080p resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, color reproduction at 45% NTSC.
