I bought them together with the console. At first, there were some inconveniences since I was transitioning from Xbox, PC. Initially, I had to get used to the controls, the shape, and basically everything. But you get used to them by the next week, or you might get used to them immediately, like my cousin did. Buy additional Joy-Cons ONLY if you live in a big family or are always in a big company. I don't see the point in buying them for any other reason. -Compact size. They can easily fit into some kind of hard headphone case. -Vibration. The vibration sometimes makes you think there are balls rolling inside the Joy-Cons, and overall the vibration is top-notch. -Response. They have a very fast response, can work well even when detached from the console, and can be used to swing a sword, etc. -Infrared camera. It can track, for example, your mouth movements. -Material and buttons. The Joy-Cons themselves are made from quality plastic, and the buttons press very easily and pleasantly. -Sticks. Wow, everyone has heard about this already, but I can't fail to mention it. After about a month of use, you start to get "drift". This is when you’re not touching the sticks, but the console detects that you’re moving the camera, for example, to the right. And it’s very unpleasant. I would like Nintendo to remove this disadvantage from the Joy-Cons. -Motion control.
