An advanced gamepad model with a classic design, primarily designed to connect to the Nintendo Switch game console, but also compatible with classic PCs. The device is designed for maximum comfort during the gaming process. It can work in two modes — wired (which uses a detachable cable) and wireless (Bluetooth interface). The controller is equipped with all the necessary buttons for the most complete use of the possibilities of each game, and there are also separate buttons for controlling the console.
In total, the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller gamepad has 12 buttons, 2 control sticks and a classic cross-shaped joystick. The actions of the characters are controlled by standard ABXY buttons and buttons located on the back of the device — "shifts". It should be noted the ergonomics of the manipulator — it is perfectly held in the hands, and all the elements are located in the most convenient way for the user. There is a charge level indicator, thanks to which you can find out when the device needs to be connected to the network in order to replenish the energy supply.

Nintendo does what SEGA don't
PC gamers have a huge selection of controllers from companies like Logitech, Razer or Microsoft and Sony. Recently, the list has been replenished with the Pro controller from the Nintendo Switch console, which, as it turned out, has native PC support. Moreover, without any tricks or installation of additional software, it works with modern computers (including the Steam Big Picture mode) and instantly picks up Bluetooth communication.
Variation on a classic design theme
In terms of design, the Switch Pro Controller does not differ much from Sony and Microsoft gamepads. On board there are two analogue sticks, a D-pad block with arrows, four front buttons, four shoulder buttons (shifts) and several navigation keys in the centre. The main difference lies in the little things — it is larger than the Dualshock, a special membrane is installed in the centre of the D-pad, which prevents simultaneous pressing of the opposite arrows, and one of the sticks is short, like the Xbox.
Perfect ergonomics
In general, the Switch Pro Controller fits comfortably in the hands, the plastic and rubberized grips do not slip even after many hours of battles with friends in Mortal Kombat or FIFA, and the overall level of convenience is in some ways even higher than that of gamepads from Sony and Microsoft. At least that's what people who own all three consoles say. Plus, the built-in battery holds up to 40 hours and this is a serious factor for buying. But the audio jack or support for wireless headphones was not delivered. Given the considerable price, this is a noticeable omission.
