A set of two controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2 console, representing the evolution of the famous Joy-Con of the first generation. Visually, they have become noticeably larger, which has positively impacted ergonomics—extended sessions are now less tiring for the hands compared to their predecessors. A fundamental design change is the magnetic attachment to the console instead of the previous physical guides: the controllers snap onto the body instantly and are removed by pressing a button on the back.

One of the most intriguing innovations is the mouse mode: both controllers are equipped with an optical sensor and can be used as manipulators, sliding on a flat surface. This feature is utilized in several games, including Super Mario Party Jamboree and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. The right controller now features a "C" button for quick access to the GameChat voice communication system.

The second-generation HD Rumble has become more intense and feels closer to the vibration of full-fledged console gamepads. The Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con Controllers connect via Bluetooth and are also compatible with Windows PCs. Each controller is equipped with a 500 mAh battery with an autonomy of about 20 hours. The sticks have been redesigned and, according to Nintendo, have become more durable, although Hall effect or TMR sensors are not used here. The controllers can still function as two independent gamepads for local multiplayer in supported games.
