Externally, the gamepad differs from the standard version due to its distinctive color scheme, while technically it is the same Pro Controller, which has earned a reputation as one of the most comfortable and durable controllers of its generation.

The main argument for this reputation is autonomy: a 1300mAh battery provides up to 40 hours of continuous use, making it one of the best in performance among wireless gamepads regardless of platform. In practice, this means that the controller can be charged once a week even with daily use. Connection is via Bluetooth 3.0, and charging is through USB-C.
