The model uses an IPS-matrix with direct illumination and Micro Dimming local dimming, the picture on which is displayed at a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. There is no full-fledged Android OS on board the Philips 43PUS6162, however, the smart shell has numerous streaming applications (Netflix, SocialTV, etc.), a browser and a YouTube client. Third-party devices, as well as external storage devices, are connected to the TV via HDMI interfaces (3 pcs.) or USB ports (2 pcs.). In addition, the model supports wireless pairing with gadgets using Miracast and Wi-Di technologies. DVB-T2 (terrestrial), DVB-C (cable) and DVB-S/S2 (satellite) tuners built into the TV receive digital broadcasting signals. No advantages. Horribly slow, like a Nokia on Symbian. The response time on the remote is an eternity.
