Large and affordable 2021 4K TV with improved LG SMART TV system and full support for high dynamic range HDR images. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category, which can become the basis of a home multimedia and entertainment system or a personal cinema. The 54.6-inch screen of the LG 55UP7500 TV is based on an 8-bit IPS-matrix with a resolution of 3840x2160, Direct LED backlight and wide viewing angles.

Thanks to the proprietary implementation of IPS technology, such a screen provides a wide colour gamut, improved contrast and decent detail (80 ppi or 31 pixels / cm). Support for HDR video playback brings more realism and a new cinematic experience. There is support for a game mode optimized to reduce delays that occur when transferring images from game consoles, gaming PCs or laptops.

With a powerful quad-core processor, real-time HD/FHD video streams are upscaled and played back in near-UltraHD quality. SMART system based on LG webOS allows you to easily and quickly access the content of global streaming services, LAN resources and files on USB drives. Model overview based on user reviews
The LG 43UP7500 43" TV offers a compelling package with its 4K resolution and Direct LED backlighting, ensuring a uniform display quality. Users appreciate its affordable price and the smart TV capabilities powered by LG's own system, which is often praised for its ease of use. The TV features HDR10 support, enhancing the viewing experience, although some users note that the brightness could be improved for better clarity on sunny days. The sound quality is generally well-received, with a 20W output that suffices for most users without needing a soundbar. However, the remote control is a common point of criticism, as it lacks a joystick and backlight, making it less convenient to use. Despite these minor drawbacks, the TV is considered a great value for its price, especially for those seeking a large screen with reliable performance.

Affordable large 4K TV with great OS
4 December 2021
I was looking for a large TV, definitely from LG, because their webOS in my opinion is the best for smartTV, as well as their branded remote control (not included). I definitely didn't want Chinese (Xiaomi), everything is not very good with the image there. I didn't want contour backlighting (when the LEDs are located along the edge of the panel), here is direct LED and in general a fairly uniform backlight. There are small spots, but this is not critical. I was more annoyed by the local backlighting in the previous TV (when the screen is divided into several vertical segments and in dark scenes some of them shine less than others). Tested on PS5 - everything is great. I would prefer to watch dark films in the dark on OLED, but during the day everything is great here. Perhaps there is a little lack of brightness. I think it will be uncomfortable on a sunny day.
Cheap for such a diagonal, 4K, good sound and overall image quality is not bad. I liked the sound, you can even use it without a soundbar if you are not a fan of cool sound.
The remote isn't convenient, I'm used to the magic remote, but it can be purchased separately. Not bright, on a sunny day the image will not be very clear.
