Video reviews

The sharp-sighted lens of the Pioneer VREC-DH200 compact “pod” provides a clear visibility of the road situation, regardless of the time of day, overboard the “iron horse” and keeps abreast of events in the car parking mode.

Compact "cup"

The model is assembled in an ultra-compact case with dimensions of 32x32x34 mm, which is practically invisible from the street. Despite the modest dimensions, they managed to put both a GPS module and a Wi-Fi adapter into the device. The first captures the speed of movement and the geographical coordinates of the car, the second is needed to remotely control the car recorder from a mobile phone. Since the "pod" does not have its own screen, the relationship with the device is established exclusively through the Dash Camera Remote application.

Video shooting in FullHD

The video sequence is recorded on a Pioneer VREC-DH200 camera in the maximum FullHD resolution (1920x1080 pixels) at 27.5 fps. The license plates of the cars in front are read without the slightest problem, and the frames also show the numbers of cars moving in a parallel and oncoming course. At night, the video may contain light from the headlights of your own car.

Distinctive features

The DVR's power adapter is designed to work in 12 V and 24 V networks. In case of emergency and in parking mode, the device is powered by a built-in 140 mAh rechargeable battery. Another interesting feature of the model is the protection of video fragments from overwriting with gestures (at a distance of 1.5 to 8 cm from the head unit). The video recorder "reads" memory cards up to 128 GB and is completed "out of the box" with a 16 GB flash drive.
