The new Sony matrix has significantly improved recording quality (I previously had the 70mai dash cam pro). The dash cam has grown slightly in size and works perfectly with a 256 GB Samsung Pro Plus card (haven't tried others). This capacity is enough to record 4K quality video for up to 16 hours.
