The paper-like, 5-inch Eink display is perfect for reading e-books — for the eyes it's the same as reading a real paper book, so you can enjoy literature indefinitely and without endangering your eyesight. The PocketBook 360 display supports 16 shades of grey for viewing images and 4 for reading text. With the help of a special plastic cover, the screen is protected from damage during transportation.
Text. PocketBook 360 supports most existing text formats, therefore, to read a file on a device, it will not need to be converted on a computer first. Supported formats include FB2, "FB2.ZIP", TXT, PDF, DJVU, RTF, HTML, PRC, CHM, EPUB, DOC, TCR.
Multimedia. PocketBook 360 allows you to view images in the most common formats — JPEG, BMP, PNG and TIFF. The device does not have the ability to play music and there is no audio output.
Memory. The PocketBook 360 has 512 MB of built-in memory, which allows you to download about 500 medium-sized e-books. Thanks to the support of MicroSD memory cards, this volume can be significantly increased — up to 32 GB. That allows you to use the device not only as an e-book, but also as a fairly capacious portable drive.
Synchronization. You can download books from your computer to PocketBook 360 using the miniUSB connector
Battery. Lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1000 mAh allows you to read more than 8,000K pages of text without recharging. The peculiarity of the paper-like screen is that it does not require the slightest amount of energy to display text, and the battery is consumed only during page turning.
