Realme brand's low-cost 5G smartphone boasts good value for money. Its basis was the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, which, according to the manufacturer, is distinguished by low power consumption, a more powerful cooling system and high performance. Despite the support for fifth-generation networks, the device turned out to be not too overall: the thickness of the plastic case is 8.5 mm, the weight is 185 g.
The front panel has a 6.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels and an increased refresh rate of 90 Hz. The 16-megapixel selfie camera has a neat round cutout in the screen, and the rear camera consists of three modules. However only a 48 MP sensor plays an important role here, the other two lenses are auxiliary with a resolution of 2 MP each (black and white and a macro module).
Realme 8 5G also has a fairly capacious 5000 mAh battery, one charge of which is enough for 42 hours of talk time, 16 hours of video playback and 114 hours of music listening. And the super-power-saving mode will help you to stretch by only 5% up to 84 minutes of communication in applications. For charging, there is a USB-C connector and fast charging with a power of 18 watts. At the same time, the model is equipped with everything necessary for convenient use: a triple slot for two SIM cards and a microSD memory card up to 1 TB, NFC for contactless payments, a fingerprint scanner built into the power button, a 3.5 mm audio jack, as well as a case and a protective film for screens that come with the kit.
