I've been using it for a week now. I bought it mainly to play PS5. Blindingly bright. Very beautiful and natural colors. Excellent black color, which can compare with OLED. Cool upscaling, worthy Game Mode. 120Hz, HDR, VRR, and so on - everything as advertised. After this, sitting at a regular monitor feels somehow strange. Unlike OLED, playing 30fps games is very pleasant, especially if using Game Mode features for image smoothing. And unlike OLED, there is no brightness loss. From movies, I watched Pixar's Onward and was kind of astonished by the 4K HDR picture quality. I recommend it for testing this TV. Follow settings from rtings.com to get the best image. FALD, unfortunately, disappoints in games. The backlighting cannot keep up with the light spots, which means when you move the game camera or an object moves quickly across the screen, each light spot, including light on the skin, turns into a uniform, faded yellow mass. Initially, it's annoying, but then you get used to it. Unfortunately, all similar TVs suffer from this drawback. We are waiting for Micro-LED in a couple of years. It is necessary to use the service menu to disable automatic PWM Dimming. It can be resolved in a couple of minutes. The remote is bad, but at least it doesn't need batteries. |
I am not an expert in the field of televisions. I haven't had a TV for about 10 years myself. So the picture quality impresses me. We haven't really delved into the settings yet. We watched two movies: "Big Hero 6" and "Cruella". And honestly, I was impressed. I've seen Big Hero 6 before. So I got new experiences from watching it. Later, I read online that Samsung is complete garbage (well, that's what the so-called experts write). Of course, maybe someone understands this well, but I don't think everyone who writes really knows anything. As a person who doesn't understand a thing (and hasn't had a TV for 10 years), I can say the TV is great. How it compares in other features and capabilities to others, I don't know. But my wife and I like it. However, I can say that with the out-of-the-box settings, YouTube doesn't look as good as on the computer. It's somehow too bright and unnatural. But movies look fantastic. In general, we need to explore it more. And the sound for such a TV is okay. But we also bought a Samsung soundbar, but I haven't had the chance to test it yet. I left. But I definitely think a soundbar is needed. You'll still find the sound a bit lacking (since you can't fit decent speakers into such a TV). Beautiful. Movies are good to watch Can not say. Since the first TV in 10 years. We haven't figured it all out yet. use Samsung QE-50QN90A less than month |
I mostly watch YouTube and television. But I don't mind 4K content either. Bright, juicy large screen, good black color, variety of settings. VA screen. Fits well into the SAMSUNG ecosystem, tap is an interesting function of duplicating the screen of a tablet and a phone. Voice search is excellent, quickly finds what you need There are buttons for the left applications on the remote control, it would be better if the functionality was placed on them. It’s better not to turn on the voice assistant |
