ultra high resolution

The eight-gigabyte version of the Radeon RX 480, although significantly more expensive than the four-gigabyte one, will allow, firstly, to look confidently into the future of games at FullHD resolution, and, secondly, to connect monitors with a higher resolution to the PC - 2K and 4K. At a screen resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, games will run at high graphics settings, and at 3840x2160 at least at low or even medium settings.

A vision for the future

An alternative to the Radeon RX 480 is the older 6 GB version of the GeForce GTX 1060. The graphics chip in the Greens solution is more powerful, but the Reds have more memory. Therefore, the Radeon RX 480 looks a little more advantageous in 4K resolution, while in FullHD and 2K it still loses. But in the future, with the increase in video memory consumption by games, the balance of power may change in favor of the Reds.

More strength

The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 model features not only strong factory overclocking, but also an additional body kit. In addition to the dual-fan heatpipe cooling system, a metal backplate is provided to protect the PCB from kinking. The reference 6-pin power connector has been replaced with a reinforced 8-pin one, so that the graphics card certainly does not drop frequencies due to lack of power. Finally, a backlight has been added especially for modding enthusiasts, which, if desired, can be turned off with a separate button on the graphics card case.

Additional features graphics card Sapphire Radeon RX 480 11260-01-20G:
  • Recommended minimum power supply power from 500 W
