I currently have a second Solite 105D31L battery. It's 5 years old. Today, for the first time during this period, the battery couldn't start the diesel engine. It's -20°C outside (it was -29°C at night). It was probably affected by the fact that yesterday evening I was stuck in traffic for about an hour with the lights on. Plus, I've never charged it at home, and it's naturally sulfated. So, I've brought it home and will try to restore it. The first battery was the same. It lasted 7 years, then one cell shorted out during winter - that's when I replaced it with the current one. The price/quality ratio is quite satisfactory. I didn't notice. Bought for a Suzuki Jimny in June 2018, it worked exactly for the warranty period. Then in September, suddenly, the car wouldn't start. Jump-started it from another car, charged the battery. It lasted exactly a week and the story repeated itself. And it wasn't even cold yet, and the battery never fully discharged.
