Model overview based on user reviews
The Sony HXR-NX3E camcorder is highly praised for its clear, low-noise image quality and deep settings, making it a standout choice in its price range. Users appreciate the built-in light, excellent peaking, and parallel recording to flash drives, which enhance its usability. The camera's ergonomics and image stabilization are noted as superior, especially compared to older models like the AX2000 and NX5 series. While some users miss the autofocus assistant function and manual correction of sharpness in autofocus mode, the camera's versatile settings and customization options compensate for these limitations. The absence of a microphone is a minor drawback, but overall, the NX3E is considered a reliable and professional-grade camcorder, ideal for both beginners and experienced users. Its ability to record in the XAVC S format with a 50 bitrate further enhances the video quality, making it a preferred choice for many videographers.

Excellent model. For a beginner, at first, it is difficult to cope with it, there are too many settings. Very convenient settings during filming. Cool stabilizer, much better than the NX5. Shooting on two cards in parallel (NX5 in series) eliminates the risk of screwing up a responsible video session. Very easy to set up. Presets can be customized. I reshuffled it for 60r, put two memory cards of 64 GB each, enough for 6 hours, the picture became even better. The zoom is very comfortable on the handle and on the right hand. Got a good microphone. Many more good things. I've been using it for 3 years and have no regrets. I don't see an alternative yet. The model is pure Japan! High. Its merit has gone far in time. Too bad it doesn't come with a microphone. Didn't find any others |
Now there is a new update. I wanted to sell it. But after the update, I was delighted with the camera and began to record in the XAVC S recording format. 50 bitrate. The quality has been great. no, only positives. use Sony HXR-NX3E month or more |
A very good replacement for cassette HDV cameras, bypassing the AX2000 and NX5 series with their somewhat blurry and noisy image. As a Panasonic 130 owner, I can confidently say that the NX3 is better in every aspect, primarily image quality, weight, and ergonomics. It's a pity it didn't come out a couple of years ago. Very clear, low-noise image, built-in light, deep settings, screen, sound, parallel recording to flash drives, really well-implemented peaking, 1920x1080 50p, and Sony's ergonomics are indeed top-notch. Removed the autofocus assistant function, but there is excellent peaking, which, paired with image magnification (even during recording), helps quickly adjust manually if needed. use Sony HXR-NX3E month or more i recommend it should buy |
