SpaceX Starlink V4 (Gen 3 / Rev 4)

The third version of the SpaceX Starlink hardware-software complex includes a compact phased array satellite antenna for communication with the orbital Starlink satellite constellation, and the proprietary dual-band Wi-Fi router SpaceX Starlink with support for the Starlink Mesh network and power over Ethernet. This kit is capable of creating a high-speed satellite internet connection with speeds up to 200 Mbps.

Unlike other network access options through geostationary satellite groups, SpaceX Starlink works with low-orbit Starlink satellites, providing low latencies (20-50 ms), which is crucial for direct client device management, video conferencing, and gaming. Compared to the similar second version complex, it features a larger surface area and an expanded antenna field of view, allowing for more effective satellite tracking and more stable connections.

The SpaceX Starlink V3 Rev4 router supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard and can simultaneously operate in two bands, providing high data transfer speeds and improved performance in congested networks. It's also worth noting the increased coverage area (up to 297 m² instead of 185 m²) and support for a greater number of devices. Thanks to 4x4 MU-MIMO and OFDMA technology, the V3 router can work with 235 devices, surpassing the capabilities of the V2 version, which supported up to 128 devices.
