American mini-flipper Steel Will C22M-1 Cutjack is a smaller lightweight version of the full-size knife Steel Will C22-1 Cutjack, which has large dimensions and weight. The knife weighs 82 g and when folded has a length of 102 mm. Both modifications presented on our market are low-cost products, where relatively inexpensive D2 steel is used as the blade material, and nylon thermoplastic (FRN) is chosen for the handle. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find a modification with a G10 fibreglass composite handle and an M390 Austrian steel blade from Bohler in our area, due to the high price, three times higher than the cost of a conventional model with the same geometry. A comfortable handle, good balance and optimal dimensions make this knife an excellent candidate for everyday use as a city knife.

The textured fibreglass handle on the side grips has a finger notch for a firm grip. A steel plate with a hole for a lanyard is fixed in the back of the handle, and a clip is attached to the sidewall, which can be rearranged for the right or left hand. The blade with a knurled thumb rest has an interesting design with 3 edges: a beveled butt, a side plane and a straight descent. The drop-point blade is 3mm thick with a Satin finish and has a decent hardness of 58-60 HRC. It has no pin and rotates on bronze washers, which are much easier to care for than bearings. The blade of the knife is removed with one hand with a simple flip using a fin and is blocked in the open form with a Liner Lock. With a total blade length of 77 mm, the cutting edge has a little less — about 7 – 8 mm "eats" the ricasso. The knife is available in 4 colours: black, blue, olive and brown.
