Smart TV powered by Google TV platform that analyzes viewer preferences and provides content recommendations directly on the main screen. The data is pulled from all installed services and applications. The TCL 50C805 is equipped with a 50-inch QLED panel with progressive MiniLED backlighting. The TV's matrix is illuminated by tiny LEDs that allow the formation of a large number of local dimming zones for a complete immersion into what's happening on the screen. The TV display showcases images at a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 pixels with a frame rate of up to 120 fps.

Such signals can be transmitted through HDMI 2.1 ports, which support gaming technologies like VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). The sound of the model is provided by 2 x 15W speakers with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Additionally, the TV includes a built-in multi-format tuner for receiving broadcast standards DVB-T2, DVB-C, and DVB-S2.

Compact, stylish, convenient.
Very convenient to install in the opening of a furniture wall, in the bedroom because it is compact. Not everyone finds it convenient to hang a TV on the wall like a picture.
As a beginner with smart TVs, I found very little in the instructions because they are completely formal.

good model, like it

After long comparisons, I settled on the C805. The price is lower than competitors, and the quality does not disappoint. Deep blacks, rich colors. High-bitrate movies look great, almost like 10-bit. There are some brightness spots, but they are not noticeable in movies at all. The build is budget: the back panel is flimsy, gaps are uneven, with a slight plastic smell. The sound is decent, presets are convenient. The software is not properly optimized, I updated the firmware via USB stick (tclupdates). Overall, for its price — a great option for enjoying quality content, but if the Samsung QN85D had support for Dolby Vision and DTS, I would have chosen it.
