Speed up internet

Not all laptops are equipped with a long-range built-in Wi-Fi adapter, and in desktop PC motherboards it is found only once in fifty models (usually, only compact Mini-ITX or top gaming ones). Fortunately, there are external wireless adapters, such as Tenda U12, with high signal strength and support for high-speed Wi-Fi 802.11ac.

For new and old PCs

The U12 is a fairly large dongle with a USB 3.0 interface. However, the USB 2.0 bus in the case of an old laptop or PC is also enough for AC Internet. The case is white and glossy, which looks a little archaic against the backdrop of the new "brutal" black and matte line of Tenda network equipment.

smart antenna

The U12 does not have an external antenna, but there is an internal one made using PIFA technology. This means placing the antenna directly on the device's printed circuit board, carefully taking into account its special electronic circuitry for maximum radio range. Compatible with Windows operating systems from XP to 10, macOS and Linux.

In general, Tenda U12 is a good addition to a gigabit router in case your laptop or PC is equipped with an old slow Wi-Fi N-adapter, or does not have one at all. The device allows you to transfer "over the air" without loss of speed the average 100-megabit Internet and even more. As a result, a typical MP3 song will download in just a couple of seconds, and a movie in half a minute.
