AC1200 class dual-band network adapter with PCIe x1 connector for installation in desktop PC motherboards. The manufacturer positions itself as a compact mid-range device with full support for the Wi-Fi 5 standard. It is designed to create high-performance network connections with wireless routers that are located at a considerable distance or behind obstacles. Using the TP-LINK Archer T4E wireless adapter makes it possible to quickly transfer large amounts of data in a wireless Wi-Fi network, i.e.
avoid laying cables. It differs from more affordable USB Wi-Fi adapters in a much higher bandwidth, the presence of two full-fledged external antennas, support for multi-stream data transfer in MIMO 2x2 mode and Beamforming technology, which automatically enhances data transfer to improve coverage in problem areas. It is characterized by a high degree of compatibility with a wide range of motherboards, capable of working properly in PCIe x1/x2/x8/x16 slots. According to the manufacturer, it provides connection speeds up to 300/867 Mbps (in the 2.4/5 GHz bands), which is more than enough to solve any home and office problems. The adapter board is half height and can be installed in mini-ITX cases.
