The Velcro strap balances the weight of the headset and rests on the center of your head, keeping the helmet stable and comfortable. Using the manual IPD slider, you can set the interpupillary distance between the lenses (the current IPD will be displayed on the headset display, supported IPD from 58 to 70 mm, adjustment step 1 mm). You'll have the ability to rotate and move the speakers to position them correctly over your ears for optimal sound delivery.

The faceplate of the headset has a convenient magnetic fastening, making it easy to replace. Another important benefit of the Valve Index VR KIT is the high-precision controllers, each equipped with 87 sensors that track hand position, fingers, movement and pressure. The controllers accurately detect squeezing, throwing, pressure, swinging and flipping. The sensors perfectly distinguish between a light touch and a firm squeeze.
