The flagship version of the Pimax Crystal Super VR headset with Ultrawide optical module, released in 2025, focuses on maximizing field of view — 140° horizontally. This is one of the highest ratings among consumer VR headsets. The wide angle fundamentally changes experiences in simulators and open-world games: peripheral vision is engaged almost as in reality, enhancing spatial orientation and reducing the "binocular effect." The resolution remains uncompromised — still 3840x3840 per eye, totaling about 29 million pixels, though the per-degree density is lower than the narrower 57PPD module.

The displays use QLED technology with mini-LED backlighting and local dimming system 2.0, featuring about 1000 zones per eye, bringing black levels closer to OLED panels. The eye-tracking system at 120 Hz in the Pimax Crystal Super Ultrawide VR glasses ensures dynamic foveated rendering — maximum detail is applied only to the fixation point, significantly reducing the load on the graphics card and making the headset suitable for work even on RTX 3070 level systems. The optical module is interchangeable: owners can switch to a 50PPD or 57PPD version at any time without changing the headset itself. Interpupillary distance automatically adjusts between 58–72 mm, with refresh rates of 72 or 90 Hz, and connection is via DisplayPort.
