Flagship wired VR headset from Pimax, model year 2025, intended for aviation and auto simulation enthusiasts who prioritize image detail above all else. The 57PPD optical module version is the Crystal Super variant featuring the highest pixel density: 57 dots per degree with a resolution of 3840x3840 per eye, which the manufacturer refers to as "retina level" clarity.

In practice, this means that text on cockpit dashboards, small indicators, and distant objects are effortlessly readable—a significant step up even compared to the junior Crystal Light. The trade-off for this clarity is the narrowing of the horizontal field of view to 106° (the 50PPD version achieves 127°). A key technological feature of the Pimax Crystal Super 57PPD VR headset is its 120Hz eye-tracking system, which provides dynamic rendering: maximum detail is applied only to the area where gaze is directed, significantly reducing the load on the graphics card.

The displays are made with QLED technology with mini-LED backlighting and local dimming 2.0 (about 1000 zones per eye), bringing black levels closer to OLED panels. The optical module is interchangeable: it can be replaced with a 50PPD or Ultrawide version without changing the headset itself. Interpupillary distance is automatically adjustable within the range of 58–72 mm. Refresh rates are 72 or 90 Hz, connection via DisplayPort.
