The splitter fully fulfills its duties, efficiently splitting logs even with a diameter of 80 centimeters or more. As we can see, on the website, it does not have (in the pictures) a shaft guard, but I received an updated model with a shaft guard. Do not pay attention to this guard because it will fall off quickly, and besides, the handle is already extremely sturdy. I have split about 8 cubic meters of logs with it so far and am satisfied with the product; the factory sharpening is sufficient, so no need to sharpen it. The steel is strong; in all the time I've owned it, the cutting edge has not dulled even a bit. A great option for its price. -price/quality; -lightness in operation; -does not get stuck in logs; -handle strength; -steel hardness; -weight (but the lighter, the easier to break something); -protection that came off on the very first day; -you need to work in gloves because the inserts can dig into bare hands.
