Model overview based on user reviews
The Fiskars X11 443 mm 1.1 kg is a splitting axe known for its efficient design and performance. It features a corrosion-resistant blade that is well-sharpened, making it effective for splitting logs without getting stuck. The handle is made of fiberglass, providing durability and a balanced weight, although it lacks a rubberized grip. While the axe is praised for its sharpness and balance, it is recommended for careful users who avoid striking hard objects like nails or stones to prevent chipping. The product comes with a case, adding convenience for storage and transport. Overall, the Fiskars X11 is a reliable tool for those who prioritize quality and are willing to invest in a durable splitting axe.

Cons

great model, love it

I recommend it for careful users who don't use it forcefully and have the finances so that they won't regret the purchase.
The edge tapers to zero across the entire plane of the smooth metal surface, which is why the axe almost never gets stuck in a log. It was very unusual that the blade would expel itself from an unsplit block. It chops easily, the blade is sharpened very well, almost like a razor, the steel is chromium-rich, which I think makes it brittle, so it's not recommended to hit nails or stones as chipping may occur. Branches are obviously not as easy to chop through, but it's definitely possible. I tried it on oak, and if without [censored], it splits splendidly. The axe seems light, but with that sharpening and metal, I think the weight is well-balanced.
